On 28/12/2022, a public awareness program was organized in Dagonbhuiyan upazila with public representatives. Chairman of Upazila Parishad Mr. Didarul Kabir was present as the chief guest in the said program, Mayor of Municipality Mr. Omar Farooq Khan was present as special guest, District Food Safety Officer Mr. Muhammad Shamsul Arefin presented the keynote and Upazila Executive Officer Mr. Nahida Akhtar Tania was the president. At this time, the speakers expressed hope for the active role of public representatives in ensuring safe food. District Safe Food Officer highlighted the functions of Safe Food Authority through multimedia presentation.
